1975	Private apprenticeship with Inge Bjorn, renowned tapestry weaver, Askov Hojskole, Denmark.
1969 - ’73	Graphic design and printing apprenticeship with Drother’s Skilte, Aarhus, Denmark.

1999	Top Award for Mixed Media, awarded to 4 out of 94 art pieces, which were selected from 1,200 submissions, The End, Tacoma Art Museum, Tacoma, WA.
